Scientific meeting at the Nencki Institute Polish Academy of Sciences

On 10 June 2016 ,Maciej Wieczorek, PhD, CEO of Celon Pharma S.A. presented potential ares of cooperation between young scientists and Celon Pharma’s Research and Development Centre.

In a short presentation of the company, Maciej Wieczorek encouraged young people to take up research initiatives in cooperation with Polish pharmaceutical companies. Cooperation with the scientific community has been a key element of our Company’s strategy from the very beginning. More than 50 people with PhD work in our laboratories and many of them wrote their PhD thesis conducting research in our Company. The only way leading to the discovery of innovative and breakthrough therapies for our patients is combining the very best of science with business experience and know-how on how to put into practice and commercialise these brave initiatives.

Celon Pharma S.A. and the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences are initiators of the Polish Innovative Neuromedicine Platform “InnoNeuroMed” which brings together scientists and entrepreneurs in the fields of neuromedicine, neurobiology and pharma. The platform’s objective is to increase the importance of modern neuromedicine in European economy.
