Celon Pharma S.A. at the “CePT – Platform for innovative medicine development” conference
27 February 2017 Celon Pharma S.A. participated in a conference organised by the Centre of Preclinical Research and Technology which took place in the Educational Centre of the Medical University of Warsaw.
Jerzy Pieczykolan, PhD, Head of the Department of Preclinical Trials at the R&D Centre of the Company presented a lecture entitled: “From the test tube to the patient – chances for the development of breakthrough therapies in Poland”. He also participated in a discussion panel devoted to potential actions which could accelerate the development of Polish innovativeness.
At the Research and Development Centre of Celon Pharma S.A we develop innovative research projects together with major Polish research facilities. We realise that in order to develop innovative therapies and advanced biotechnological drugs it is essential for pharmaceutical companies and scientific institutes to cooperate – and this with governmental support. During the CePT conference we had a chance to share our own experience – says Jerzy Pieczykolan.
The event organised by CePT aimed at initiating a substantive discussion on the cooperation between science, business and government in terms of bioinnovation. It was attended by representatives of state administration, the scientific community and the industry.
