Celon Pharma S.A. at BioForum 2016
On 9 and 10 May 2016 Celon Pharma S.A. representatives will participate in this year's edition of BioForum, the most important event in biotechnology in Poland.
This year BioForum will be held in the city of Lodz. For the fifteenth time the event will bring together representatives of business and science associated with the broadly understood life sciences sector in Europe.
Celon Pharma S.A. representatives will be available at an exhibition stand prepared specially for the event. Scientists from the Company's Research and Development Centre will be presenting the company's R&D projects, interested parties will also have the chance to discuss possible cooperation.
Jerzy Pieczykolan, PhD, Head of Preclinical Research in the Celon Pharma S.A. Research and Development Centre: BioForum is the perfect opportunity to present our R&D projects and establish contacts with the scientific and business community. Therefore we are pleased to be a part of this event. We hope that the contacts established during BioForum will result in collaborations focusing on the introduction of effective and innovative companies.
Furthermore, Celon Pharma S.A. representatives will be taking part in B2B sessions, lectures and debates which will be held as part of the event.
On the first day of the fair (9 May) at 11:00 am, Maciej Wieczorek, PhD, CEO of Celon Pharma S.A. will take part in a seminar entitled "Polish-Israel Biobusiness Forum", which will include a discussion on the future of start-ups in Poland. The starting point for the discussion will be a lecture delivered by Yigal Erlich, President of MATIMOP & Vice-President of Israel National Council on R&D, entitled: "Israeli high-tech area. Road to start up nation". The presentation and discussion will be held in English.
