Legal basis: Article 17(1) of the MAR Regulation – Inside Information, 7:11 p.m.

The Management Board of Celon Pharma S.A. (the “Company”) hereby announces that on May 5, 2026, it was informed that four of the Company’s applications for project funding (the “Projects”), submitted under the Medical Research Agency’s (Agencja Badań Medycznych, “ABM”) Competition for the Development of Research and Development Projects in the Field of Translational Medicine – TRANSMED I (ABM/2024/8), have been recommended for funding. The total amount of funding awarded to the Projects is PLN 39.28 million.

The following Projects have been recommended for funding:

1. Development of a First-in-Class Next-Generation Bispecific ADC Targeting Both Tumor and Immune Components in the Treatment of Solid Tumors (HERLICON)

Awarded funding: PLN 11.98 million

The HERLICON project concerns the development of an innovative, first-in-class bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (bispecific ADC) therapeutic candidate designed to simultaneously target tumor and immune components in the treatment of solid tumors. The project is aligned with the Company’s strategy of developing advanced targeted oncology therapies.

2. Development of a Subcutaneous mRNA/LNP Delivery Platform

Awarded funding: PLN 11.86 million

The project involves the development of a technology platform enabling the subcutaneous administration of therapeutic mRNA/LNP formulations, particularly through the use of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) in combination with hyaluronidase. The objective is to create a technology that enables more efficient and patient-friendly delivery of mRNA therapies, with potential applications including the treatment of hemophilia A and other chronic diseases.

3. Identification of the Mechanism of Action and Translational Validation of CPL’280 – a Novel Non-Opioid Analgesic Candidate for the Treatment of Neuropathic Pain

Awarded funding: PLN 11.08 million

The project includes the identification of the mechanism of action and translational validation of CPL’280, an innovative non-opioid analgesic drug candidate being developed for the treatment of neuropathic pain. The objective is to enhance the scientific and development value of the program by confirming its mechanism of action and its potential for further clinical development.

4. Preclinical Evaluation of an Innovative 5-HT7 Receptor Agonist for the Treatment of Non-Neuropathic Pain

Awarded funding: PLN 4.35 million

The project concerns the preclinical evaluation of an innovative 5-HT7 receptor agonist as a potential therapeutic candidate for the treatment of non-neuropathic pain. The objective is to validate its pharmacological activity and assess its potential for further development as a novel non-opioid pain therapy.

The implementation period for the above Projects is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028.

The execution of the Projects is consistent with Celon Pharma S.A.’s strategy of developing innovative therapies in the areas of pain management, oncology, and mRNA/LNP technologies. The awarded funding will enable the Company to further advance research and development projects with significant translational, clinical, and commercialization potential.

The disbursement of funds for the implementation of the Projects is subject to the execution of the relevant grant agreements. The Company will inform the market of the execution of such agreements through separate current reports.
